Scratch magazine hosted its 11th Scratch Stars Party on 23 July to reward amazing technicians, educators and businesses across the nail industry.
The event at The Underglobe, London, was hosted by Scratch’s managing editor, Helena Biggs, and TV personality & podcaster, Jamie Laing. Guests enjoyed a live performance from X Factor winner, Louisa Johnson, as well as tarot readings, pick ‘n’ mix and complimentary drinks in the stunning Shakespearean-style setting.
The night featured two awards presentations: the Scratch Stars Awards, for the UK&I nail sector, followed by the presentation of the very first World’s Star Nail Artist.
All finalists had entered the awards back in February, and undergone tasks, challenges or mystery shops. These were scored by various judges to unveil a winner in each category.
